In addition, on 21 September 2016, as part of the IFTM Top Resa fair, Air France and the Barbados Tourist Office signed a partnership. This new agreement aims to develop tourism in Barbados and promote this destination on departure from France and Europe.

– Air France is delighted to have signed this new partnership agreement, which reaffirms the close ties between the company and the Tourist Boards to promote destinations. For our customers, services to Barbados are an additional opportunity to travel to the Caribbean from Europe or the French West Indies, said Henri Hourcade, SVP Caribbean, Indian Ocean and Latin America at Air France-KLM.

– This is the first time that Barbados and a French airline have become partners. We are delighted that this partnership is with Air France and we are eager to welcome French visitors to enable them to discover our island, a glamorous destination close to the French West Indies, declared William Billy Griffith, CEO of Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc.
