For the next summer season, starting on  March 26, 2017, the Latvian airline airBaltic will introduce at least eight new routes, thus improving connections to the Baltic region.
Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer of airBaltic:
-Â airBaltic is an important link of the Baltic region with the rest of the world. As part of our Horizon 2021 business plan we will improve our connections to key airports by opening at least eight new routes in 2017. In addition, we will further improve our service on existing routes by gradually phasing in our all-new Canadian-built Bombardier CS300 jets. These will become a distinguishing feature of our airline, which is set to become the world’s first operator of this state-of-the art aircraft.”
For the summer season airBaltic has added Geneva (Switzerland), Aberdeen (United Kingdom), Stavanger (Norway), Gothenburg (Sweden), Tampere (Finland), Catania (Italy), to the network of cities served from Riga, and will introduce two new routes from Vilnius to Paris (France) and Munich (Germany).
