Martin Gauss, CEO of airBaltic:

– Stuttgart is already our sixth destination in Germany, and we are confident the direct connection will be appreciated among business and leisure travellers alike. As one of the centres of the German car industry and natural landscapes, Stuttgart offers a lot to its visitors.”

– We are delighted to have gained airBaltic as a new carrier for Stuttgart, said Dr. Arina Freitag, Managing Director of Stuttgart Airport.

– Riga is a great addition to our route network, and airBaltic offers highly comfortable connecting flights e.g. into the entire Baltic States, to which the current demand has increased by an incredible 60%.”

Mr. Schoefer, Managing Director and Spokesman of Stuttgart Airport adds:

- airBaltic creates mutual access for two economically very dynamic regions. In terms of digitization and eGovernment, Latvia is a pioneer in Europe and thus an attractive partner for our economy, so we very much welcome this new connection.”
