airberlin withdraws from Stuttgart – Abu Dhabi route

airberlin  will discontinue its services between Abu Dhabi and Stuttgart as part of its network and schedule adjustments for the summer 2016 season.

Flights between Stuttgart and Abu Dhabi will continue to operate as normal under the current frequency until 31 May 2016.

Guests from the wider Baden-Wurttemberg region may continue to use the airline’s excellent flight connections from Stuttgart via the hubs in Berlin-Tegel with two daily flights to Abu Dhabi and via Dusseldorf with two daily flights jointly with Etihad Airways, or use Etihad Airway’s double daily nonstop-service from Frankfurt and Munich to Abu Dhabi, to connect to the worldwide network of airberlin’s partner airline.

airberlin  regularly review the operating schedules to ensure they are utilising our aircraft to capitalise on traffic flows and to meet market demands. The airline will continue to evaluate opportunities in the future.

airberlin regrets any inconvenience this network adjustment may cause. Along with the travel agency partners, the airline will notify affected guests of the changes to their itineraries and re-accommodate them on other flights that meet their travel needs.

Guests affected by the flight cancellation will be offered a rebooking free of charge on connecting flights from Stuttgart via Berlin or Düsseldorf to Abu Dhabi and beyond.
