Boeing will be exhibiting at the Sola Air Show, June 10-11 where the Norwegian public will be able to learn more about the P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft, the H-47 Chinook heavy-lift helicopter, Wideband Global SATCOM satellites, and other Boeing products and services. A U.S. Navy P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft is expected to be on static display at the show.

– People will also get a close look at the U.S. Navy P-8A aircraft, which will help improve the intelligence, surveillance, and situational awareness capabilities of the Norwegian Armed Forces.”
Norway recently announced an intent to purchase five P-8A Poseidon as its new maritime patrol aircraft. Â The P-8A has the benefit of being a military derivative of the widely-operated Next-Generation 737-800 commercial aircraft and provides extremely high reliability. It can fly higher, farther and faster than other maritime patrol aircraft and can detect, track and report on more targets.
Boeing representatives will be available for interviews at Sola Air Show, Hangar 2, on Saturday June 10, between 14:00 and 15:30
