Nuremberg has joined the competition to become Europe’s Capital of Culture 2025.

The aim is not just to spruce up the city, but to spur on entirely new developments. Required are not just changes in cultural areas, but also economic, social, environmental and sports — to find answers to common themes which challenge all of Europe.

To achieve this ambitious goal, the entire population should take part. Through active participation in discussion forums, they should ask and answer questions about the idea of a Capital of Culture and bring those answers to life.

Four core questions have already been defined: What makes Nuremberg one-of-a-kind? What is your With for the future of Nuremberg? What do you love so much that you want to show it to the rest of Europe? What should we not forget?
