Norwegian Adds More Flights from the U.S to Paris

Norwegian will launch a weekly nonstop route from Orlando to Paris on July 31, 2017. In addition to this new route, the airline will increase frequencies on all existing routes. Beginning the last week of July 2017, service between New York and Paris will operate daily; service from Los Angeles will operate four times per week; and service from Fort Lauderdale will operate twice per week.

– The response we are seeing from the U.S. market on the Paris routes is similar to the response we experienced when we launched our London routes in July 2014. The Paris routes have been outperforming our expectations since we launched the service this past summer. This is the fourth nonstop Paris route from the U.S., whereas London now has eight, so we look forward to continuous successful growth and Paris will be a major focus for us as we grow our service from the U.S., said Bjørn Kjos, Norwegian’s CEO and founder.

Fares for the new Orlando-Paris service will start at $229 one-way, including taxes. The lowest available fares to Paris and any of Norwegian’s destinations from the U.S. can be found by reviewing the airlines low fare calendar.

In July, Paris became Norwegian’s sixth European city with nonstop flights from the U.S. The airline will also launch nonstop service to Barcelona from four American cities next summer: Los Angeles, launching on June 5, 2017; New York City (Newark Liberty International Airport), launching on June 6, 2017; Oakland/San Francisco, launching on June 7, 2017; and Fort Lauderdale, launching on August 22, 2017. Additionally, Norwegian will launch service from Fort Lauderdale to Guadeloupe on December 17, and nonstop service from Oakland/San Francisco to Copenhagen on March 28, 2017.
