Traveling to Thailand after 24 December 2021

Thailand Pass is temporarily closed for all new Test & Go and Sandbox applications (except Phuket Sandbox), effective from 22 December 2021 until further notice.

To visit Thailand, all travellers are required to register and present documents HERE. Register online no later than 7 days before departure.

All travellers must download and install the MorChana application.

Travellers who already applied for Thailand Pass

  • Travellers who already received their Thailand Pass QR Code can enter Thailand under the scheme they have registered.
  • Travellers who have registered, but not received their Thailand Pass QR code must wait for their Thailand Pass to be considered or approved. Once approved, they can enter Thailand under the scheme they have registered.
  • Travellers who have already received a Thailand Pass QR code and arrive Thailand from 24 December 2021 must undergo 2 RT-PCR Tests in Thailand (upon arrival and Day 5-6) at government-designated facilities, or when they experience respiratory symptoms (no additional cost).

New applicants for Thailand Pass

  • Travellers can submit an application  for Thailand Pass from 22 December 2021 to enter Thailand under 2 schemes only until further notice: Sandbox program (Phuket only) OR Alternative Quarantine (AQ)
  • Phuket Sandbox – Stay first 7 days in Phuket before travel to other Thailand destinations. Stay your 1st night in your accommodation while waiting for your RT-PCR test result. If negative, travel freely in Phuket for 7 days before travelling to other destinations in Thailand.
  • Alternative Quarantine (AQ) – stay 7-10 nights in an AQ hotel in any Thailand destinations
  • New applicants for Phuket Sandbox must have confirmation of 2 RT-PCR tests booked in Phuket. Travellers can book 2 RT-PCR tests in Phuket via https://www.thailandpsas.com/ (available since 24 December 2021) and must upload the RT-PCR test confirmation on Thailand Pass.
