Volotea has reached 200,000 subscribers to its membership programme Megavolotea. This programme for frequent flyers, entitles subscribers to benefit from very significant discounts and advantages. The company celebrates this achievement awarding passengers on board of a selected flight in Nantes with a free complimentary subscription.
Volotea launched its membership programme in January 2018, and since then has reached 200,000 subscribers across more than 17 countries. Additionally, 32% of subscribers are Megavolotea Plus members, an upgraded programme including Priority Boarding.
Megavolotea is a yearly pay subscription programme which for â‚¬49.99 gives travellers access to a number of special discounts, like up to â‚¬10 discounts on regular fares, up to 15% discount on luggage and 25% discount on seat selection, as well as â‚¬20 of credit as birthday gift. All of it with unlimited annual usage and up to four people on the booking as beneficiaries.

Volotea has celebrated its 200,000 subscribers with a subscription for all the passengers who were flying from Nantes to Montpellier. The company surprised all the passengers on board, and awarded them with a year Megavolotea subscription, and for those who were already Megavolotea, the company upgraded them to Megavolotea Plus.
In 2019, the programme added new discounts, more communication channels and an exclusive customer service phone number as the main added benefits.

The majority of Megavolotea subscribers are from France, Italy, Spain and Greece, where Volotea operates. 50,000 new subscribers have joined this subscription programme in the last twelve months. In Greece, the number of subscribers has doubled in this period.
